Three powerful videos about Abundance, Food Waste and Inequality
The Plenty to Share campaign, led by This is Rubbish, have produced three powerful new videos explaining the relationship between abundance, food waste and inequality.
Together Liverpool are one of 40+ founding signatures on the Plenty to Share: Abundance and Equality declaration. Watch the videos below and visit the campaign website to find out how you can get involved.
Video 1 explains how there’s plenty of food and wealth to go round if we design food waste out of the system and share wealth more equally.
Video 2 dives deeper into how inequalities of wealth and power cause food waste and poverty, with a focus on on-farm food waste.
Video 3 introduces systemic solutions to food waste and poverty, such as a living income, right to food, tax justice and food waste regulations – and invites people to join the #PlentyToShare campaign
