February Newsletter - Together Liverpool
We are delighted this month to see lives being enriched thanks to half term activities run by churches across the Diocese, including 24 who received our Feast of Fun at Home grants.
These food-related activities including on-line bread baking sessions, breakfast and lunch clubs, pancake parties and food hamper deliveries, will reach an estimated 1,400 young people.
Thank you to all who have joined us in praying for churches hosting events and shared posts on social media, helping to spread the good news of our Network of Kindness in action.
This newsletter we bring you news of more upcoming events including a presentation about the UK’s first zero waste food donation platform, Banquet. Our Food Insecurity Lead Naomi Maynard will also be speaking at a webinar to present the new Your Local Pantry impact report, charting the difference pantries are making to communities, health, and household finances.
We also ask you to share details of our Covid Cash Courses with your networks, and bring you updates about a new Peacecast podcast, a Question Time event with the End Our Cladding Scandal campaign, and a Rage and Hope book launch celebrating 75 years of Christian Aid.
